Last week, Alameda County honored Tim Dupuis following his retirement after 26 years of service. As CIO and Registrar of Voters, Tim modernized County technology and oversaw 28 elections. Thank you, Tim, for your leadership and service.

Today marks the end of an era. Our Chief Information Officer Tim Dupuis and our Assistant Chief Information Officer Sybil Gurney are retiring. They will be sorely missed but we wish them both happiness and safe travels in retirement. Thank you both so much!

Each month, our department sponsors events to support our community. In September, we celebrated National Literacy month by collecting children's books for the East Bay Children's Book Project. We collected 215 books. We have donated 2007 books to the project over the years.

Our SSA Technologies Team recently volunteered at Alameda County Community Food Bank to help organize and package food. They showed once again that #ITDCares.
