Senna’s MP4/4 won 93.75% of its races. Schumacher’s F2001 won 88.24% of its races. Max’s RB19 won 95.5% of its races. They all had good cars. That’s like, the whole other point of the sport I fear.

@63geoscar and you may be thinking the German cars aren’t white. Allegedly due to the white paint chipping. white became silver, for Merc and Auto Union (Audi). Also why it’s the same in other racing series to F1. I’ll guess F1 Audi will also use silver like Merc.

@63geoscar Eventually liveries came about and teams didn’t need to distinguish by nationality anymore, but some (Ferrari, Alfa, Alpine, Aston) still prescribe to the old ways, as it’s become most synonymous with their brands.

my theory is that McLaren knew it was too risky to have Lando fighting Oscar for position cause Lando doesn’t handle Oscar’s defense well so they did team orders instead. Cause Lando had the pace to pass Oscar on track anyways. He was in DRS range. Why team orders?
