@RamseySAFC Why do you act like youve been this amazing side.. horrible to watch. Ill save this tweet for when you are relegated next season or on after, after being one of the shit sides that sparked a change in rule book for being so bad to watch 😂

I genuinely think after last night that result is going to relegate Leeds. They couldn’t beat us, a side that had 7 players out. While West Ham have won at Fulham and Forest have a point at City. Think the only hope for Leeds is Spurs’ meltdown continues. #SAFC #LUFC

@JamesCopley_ And not being punished for it, first minute onien is wasting time with throw in, and subsequently every time since... booked only for kicking the second ball into our attack. If ref books him early it sets the tone but clearly wasting time is advocated. Thats fine count me out.

More than one way to skin a cat. Why would Sunderland come to Elland Road and try to play expansive football with so many injuries? They came to get the job done. "Football is dead as a spectacle" is a pretentious take and a ridiculous overreaction because Leeds lost. #SAFC
Adonis Storr@theadelites

FT #LUFC 0 Sunderland 1 Football as a spectacle is dead unless the officials get a grip on the game. What an awful embarrassment that was, terrible football from Sunderland, constant diving, time-wasting, faking an injury to have a team talk, Regis constantly yapping at the 4th official. This is Bielsa’s nightmare, so far removed from the level of football we know is possible. Sunderland have absolutely no shame. But, ultimately, Leeds have never done it the easy way and will need to wise up. They looked like they lacked energy after two huge and emotionally draining games in a matter of days against two teams who had to employ every dark art known to man to scrape a result. This has to provoke a reaction from this group. And I expect it to and I fully expect Leeds to come out swinging in their remaining games.

@LittleBrosFC @DougieCritchley Now I am not saying that nobody booed because it was ramadan a small amount may have done but most saw it as a tactical edge for our opponents. Pro idf chants? Never heard, small minority, deplorable in its own right. But dont mention online consensus as basis for truth.

@LittleBrosFC @DougieCritchley By embellishing truths and fuelling fires. It also acts as a way of dividing people on any topic you can think of. Why people fall for it I dont know. I can tell you we are there for the football not to state our political beliefs.

No Roefs, no Reinildo, no Mukiele, no Brobbey, no Xhaka from the start, a goalkeeper making their Sunderland debut, a centre-back making his first Premier League start... It wasn't pretty, Leeds were the better side, but THAT WAS ABOUT GRIT. That takes Sunderland to 40 points by the 3rd March, an absolutely sensational achievement for a side playing their first year in the Premier League for 9 years. A reminder that Sunderland finished 4th in the Championship last year, as close to Oxford United in 17th as Leeds and Burnley at the top, before scraping into the Premier League with late winners in the semi-final and final. And yet... the only side to beat Sunderland home and away so far this season is Fulham and we've conceded fewer goals than Liverpool and Man United. Fuelled by one of the most remarkable summers of recruitment in Premier League history. So proud of my club!

@LittleBrosFC @DougieCritchley That's the problem though, following the general online consensus. Many are quick to give an opinion on things they don't necessarily know much about. One media outlet puts out a story for example and Many retweet it as absolute fact and fires start all over...

🚨🗣️ 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Ruud Gullit is RIPPING into the current game of football! "I have decided to STOP watching football. I don't enjoy our sport anymore. I watched Arsenal vs Chelsea, what an absolute GARBAGE match of football!" "I see players trying to create corner kicks, trying to create throw-ins, I see ball boys ready to give towels to the players. Football has become absolutely HORRIBLE. I hope that this is not the path we are heading at." "I am waiting for players who will take on defenders again, someone like Lamine Yamal. I am missing the joy! I just don't enjoy football anymore." "Everyone is executing tasks on the pitch. Where are the players dribbling? Where are the players with b*lls? WHY IS EVERYONE PASSING?! PASSING! PASSING! PASSING!"

@jim_hdwk @BBCMOTD Well done for posting this. Needs to be seen.. even if they are baiting us for a response it still shows what sort of game they want to advocate for. Zero integrity

The ‘Leeds under Lights’ myth ! By far the worst team we’ve played away all season. And, we had 6 missing. #safc

@paulwatson78 Had you on the absolute ropes after cheating all game and time wasting from the first thrown in (1st minute). Congrats on staying up but you'll go down next season.

@BradleyDSharp11 So what do we have? A game that is so boring to watch and one where cheats prosper. If you want that it's fine. Says a lot about you.

@BradleyDSharp11 Because you are likely thick that's why. Its not about giving stuff in order to get the 3 points. It's about allowing teams to get away with gamesmanship time after time and basically saying its acceptable. But he follows the rule book which is not entirely in Footballs interest

It’s mental how fans have different views on a referee. He was abysmal and gave Leeds almost everything. But all I see is Leeds lot saying the ref gave them nowt. It’s a funny old game.

@LittleBrosFC @DougieCritchley How do we know it was about ramadan? Why are you quick to label something as so when it is not clear? Booing because the game had stopped at a crucial point and was used as a team huddle? Most likely nothing to do with Ramadan

@shaunbinno @DougieCritchley Well said and thankfully tonight it became so blatant that we are all mentioning it. It's been very subtle for a while but the game is broken and it's not the one we fell in love with. Far too much manipulation and its been allowed because we keep watching and ignoring it.

@DougieCritchley I’d struggle to be proud of that. No doubt that will be filed in the bitter box, but if time wasting, fringing injury and blatant cheating is the way forward then the game is done. 🤷‍♂️

@Cannycasserole @ma33499357 @DougieCritchley Who cares? Now is the time to draw a line and decide what sort of game it is we want to watch. Rivalries aside, 3 points aside. It's gone to the dogs and that is partly because fans do not speak out about it. Now isn't the time to be immature and idiotic. Stop rewarding cheating

@DougieCritchley Zero grit in that performance, If you commend it it says a lot about you as a person. The game is finished. Officiating has killed football, rule book is a farce and gamesmanship gets rewarded. Worse yet commended by muppets like you.

@marshyleeds If you're even asking that question, you are lost. We were still the better team win lose or draw, how Sunderland played was shocking and the officiating is even worse. Should farke also give a full half time team talk and tell his players not to handball it in the area? Think

Was tonight on Farke, or did the players need to take more professional pride in their own performance? Tonight was a real setback. Do you think Leeds still have enough about them to stay in the Premier League? #LUFC
