This is the standard protocol we have followed for school closures. We try to keep families And the school community informed, as best as we can

Additionally, after the Board adopted the budget on May 7th, A second Robo call was sent to parents on May 8th to inform them that the board approved the school closure. A letter also went out to all parents and the letter was posted on the school website

While I am very sorry to hear that the parent did not receive this information, but for the sake of clarity: on April 14th, prior to the Board meeting where the closure of School 20 was discussed for the 1st time, a Robocall was sent to parents, to inform them of this potential

A correction to this ...it was actually @NYSEDNews working in collaboration with @RCSDNYS to restructure the use of our federal and state grants to better support our students that allowed this funding to reduce our teacher reductions

So thankful for the assistance of @NYSEDNews & @RCSDNYS @rcsdinnovation staff in reviewing all of our grant funds to allow us to limit some staff reductions and also address other areas of budget shortfalls

And today is dad’s 92nd birthday...and he’s still working the dough on #cookieday2019 😊

The count is now 537.... but we still have 4 batches to go..... #cookieday2019
