20 years married. THIS is the flex. Marry the girl who loves Jesus more than she loves you. I didn’t grow up with a model for marriage. My view of love was shaped by a broken home. So yeah… I got it wrong early on. If that’s you, you’re not broken. You’re just early. Get mentors. Get around people who will challenge you, pray for you, and call you out (and up)… not just send you podcast links and Tony Robbins clips. (love Tony, by the way.) Here’s what I’ve learned (and still learning) after 20 years of making the wisest decision ever. ✅ Wanting to “be right” in marriage is a great way to lose ✅ Self-awareness will save more arguments than “communication skills.” ✅ Don’t just say “I love you,” demonstrate it ✅ Build a business that fits around your family… not a family that gets whatever scraps are left after business ✅ Don’t fake accountability. Find people who’ll kick your butt with love ✅ Pursue her even when you don’t “feel it. Especially then Take your daughters on dates. Speak life into them like the world is trying to take it from them… because it is. Help them become confident, courageous, and grounded in truth. Not perfect. Just anchored. And guys… Don’t let your eyes wander. Don’t get distracted by cheap attention. Focus on your wife. Honor her when no one’s watching. God sees that. And He blesses it. I don’t have a perfect marriage. But I have a beautiful one. Because we’ve committed to putting Jesus at the center… especially when it’s hard. And I’d rather struggle with God’s grace than try to grind it out without Him in our lives. To my wife, Sarah, my best friend. We did it. 20 years. You are the steady, faithful rock in our family. You love deeply, lead quietly, and carry more than anyone sees. You’ve brought stability, wisdom, and strength into my life…and I’m better in every way because of you. I’m not the man I am without your love, your prayers, and your patience. I love you. And I’m so grateful God gave me you. My heart belongs to you. 20 years. Not bad for a kid with no blueprint. Here’s to the next 20… with more love, more laughs, and a lot more memories.

I'm a 54-year-old pastor. My coding knowledge is a bit of HTML from 20 years of blogging. That's genuinely it. In the last year, I've built six tools that my ministry team uses every week.

Opus 4.6 was just so much better than 4.7. Feels like you have to babysit 4.7 all the time.

I paid 10k to join Hampton and the community is super cool. But after the first in person meeting I decided it wasn’t for me. When you have rich people chatting about their problems and God is not a part of that discussion it gets weird.

👇 This broke me... finally. I installed Hermes 3 times before, but never fully committed so far (including a full migration, setting up all creds etc). I have reinstalled and ported @wooolfred to Hermes (not fully, but well enough to get started) and turned off my January era OC gateway. Hermes with GPT 5.5 "feels like" the old Claw, responds fucking fast, self improving, proactive, amazing.... GPT 5.5 is still no Opus but it smells and feels good! I don't understand why, I moved my Claw to Codex runtime, I tried Opus via CLI (BADD), I tried doctor, I tried gateway restarts, I tried all sorts of fixes throughout the last month. Then 1 Hermes install later, things just click? WTF. Shout out to @Teknium and the rest of the @NousResearch crew 👏

@Shpigford hermes + gpt 5.5 right now. speaking from someone who's not technical at all. built my plan in claude code based on the bottlenecks in my business (surprise... it's ME) and deployed it in hermes and has been working great so far.

I 100% agree with this. When leaders say "retard" publicly - in most every case, its super lame. If saying retard or any other offensive word makes the joke land 10x, then yeah, say it. But tossing it around like this...very performative and inauthentic. Not a fan.

@eriktorenberg Why are you guys so obsessed with normalizing this word? Would you feel comfortable saying this in front of a child with learning disabilities?

@alejandroreyes @NousResearch I've used it intermittently for the past month; however, a few days ago I moved all coding from openclaw to it. Everyday does a PR, issue sweep across repo's, picks up sentry issues and fixes them. I just see PR's come thru, feels like magic!
