@alejaphobic Zuko wasn't given permission; he sought to be allowed. Being forgiven is different. He was a victim of his own nation and his father's actions. You are angry that the bald boy is annoying and nobody values him, and you keep undermining someone who truly had a valuable arc.

zuko is allowed to be forgiven for two seasons and a half of straight up evil shit but god forbid aang act in desperation to revive his genocided people. just pure cherry picking and it doesn’t go unnoticed to me that zuko is given more grace than any other character

I genuinely can’t think of anything except xenophobia to why Aang’s mission to revive his people is always “controversial” and has to “put his friends first”. Every team avatar member can have emotional scars, but not him. He’s not allowed to make a bad decision or act on trauma
