Dr. Mbabazi has earned her PhD in Management Science – Education Management with her thesis: Enhancing Teachers’ Performance: A Study of Appraisal and Motivation in Secondary Schools, Kasese District, Uganda. We commend her scholarly contribution to education management and her research on teacher appraisal and motivation in Uganda’s secondary schools. Her work advances practical solutions for improving performance and outcomes in the education sector. We extend our appreciation to the Doctoral Committee: Assoc. Prof. Zulaihatu Lawal Bagiwa, Assoc. A medical practitioner has asked me why I think we sign away before we enter an operation theater! There is also a reason why surgery is a last resort in medical practice! What is a minor procedure? Local or general Anesthesia! This week I have taken time off to understand from surgeons many things as the rest of us were becoming experts on surgery!
