Serious question for other mobile devs: Why waste compute running Xcode sims locally, when you can just stream them from the cloud?

Google now ships two versions of the same product: one is a VS fork with a dark icon, the other is a Codex clone with a light icon. I’m genuinely wondering who is driving product strategy at Google and where the love for building great things went in the tech industry.
