@Metahmyne yeah that’s a huge gripe I have as well. Opinions being treated as objective. Like, idc if you liked Adam and Ironwood. I care that you’re constantly saying that the show was WRONG for what they did instead of just being disappointed and moving on 😭

@aleviahwolfe Thats fair! I just find many critiques against the show and many critics to be in bad faith. "Thing I don't like" = "bad writing". Like Adam's death or Ironwood being a villain.

This is how I feel about the whole “Ruby hiding things from Ironwood” thing. I don’t agree with the criticism of it being badly written because it’s hypocritical—I think it’s well-written BECAUSE it is hypocritical, and that’s acknowledged by those characters in the show

sometimes ppl are too quick to call something ooc when in fact it is a character being hypocritical and not acting in line with their stated principles which is a normal thing people do when distressed! have u ever told ur friend to leave their bf and then texted ur ex

@aleviahwolfe A lot of RWBY characters have flaws or mistakes that get ignored or overlooked. I say don't act like they don't exist but just remember there are characters in a story.

I personally love the idea of one or both of them becoming huntsmen teachers and being parental toward their students bc they know what it’s like to dive in too deep at a young age and want the next generation to be protected but idk maybe i’m crazy haha
