Small thing I've been working on for Flare: an interactive installation guide that handles the full version matrix instead of cramming everything into one markdown doc. Select your Laravel version, toggle features, get the right steps, API key pre-filled if you're logged in:

I'm giving Codex a go this week. Loving the UI so far but it seems like it's pretty good at planning too. Claude Code often thinks Codex' plans are "slightly more comprehensive" or in-depth

The Flare CLI is one of the rare places where I actually prefer a dark theme over a light theme. Really makes that beautiful gradient pop ✨

Works great as a tool for giving AI coding agents access to an API in a structured way. Register the OpenAPI spec and the agent can discover and call any endpoint directly from the terminal. No SDK needed. We used this to build the @flareappio CLI 👇

Some highlights: - 1 artisan command per endpoint, auto-generated from your spec, incl. request parameters and options - Supports common auth options, file uploads, and form fields - Remote specs with caching - --json, --yaml, --minify output - Syntax-highlighting out of the box

It's been a busy week for open source at @spatie_be! We just released github.com/spatie/laravel…: a package to dynamically create Artisan commands for every endpoint in your OpenAPI spec. Markdown output by default, great for giving AI coding agents access to your API.

@JustSteveKing @spatie_be Thanks for checking in! We're all doing ok. There are only 11 of us at Spatie and sometimes we're all just busy with life and its ups and downs. Of course we're also cooking on some things. There's a newsletter about that planned for tomorrow!
