Big congratulations to East Regional Director Kenny Freeburn who's been awarded the King’s Ambulance Service Medal (KAM) in the New Year's Honours Kenny started out at SAS in 1994 as an Ambulance Care Assistant and currently leads SAS's Ethnic Minority Forum Well done to Kenny!

What a great race under the lights in Singapore, Lando ran away with it but some close calls with Max and Oscar. Sorry for my guy @GeorgeRussell63 coming 4th but at least he finished this year. Well done to #SingaporeGP for a well organised 3 day event, and I should know!!

Arrived on Sunday to this fantastic city, very hot and humid but today is race day #SingaporeGP, about to head for the track. Shout out to #F1Academy for a great race before the main event.

Today I finally managed to get my helicopter lesson, which was a 60th present from my daughter and grand children. It was a fantastic experience and something I will also remember. Thanks to @Adventure001

We would like to wish SAS Chief Executive @paulinehowie a very happy retirement! Pauline, pictured with @TomSteele19 has been with the Service for 23 years and today was her last day. Thanks for everything you have done for SAS and NHS. We wish you all the best for the future!

After 38 years public service, today was my last day in the office on a full time basis. It’s been a privilege to work with fabulous NHS Scotland staff, Ministers, civil servants and many others over those years. I’m not stopping doing things but it’s time for new adventures!

@NWAmb_Mia 2/2 come back in to resus to give my handover. Everyone listened that time and there was an apology given. Hopefully it was a learning experience for our colleague.

extremely disappointed today to be humiliated infront of a room of clinicians over a GCS score (that was correctly assessed) 😔 I do wonder if we as pre-hospital clinicians will ever get the full recognition and respect for our abilities, skill and knowledge #NotJustADriver 💚
