@Martyn1988 It’s not the same principle - gifs are in the public domain whereas this picture was taken from my personal account without my permission or consent. Had I provided consent for it to be shared then there wouldn’t be an issue here but as it is you’re benefiting from my property.

@alexanderdack Do you credit people when you choose to use their gifs? Surely it’s the same principle? Why is it surprising? Social media tends to work that way. Someone sees something, or in this instance is sent something, and shares it with their platform. Anyway, enjoy your weekend.

@Martyn1988 That’s fine, I understand your initial position but I’ve now both told you and shown you evidence that it’s my picture. I could equally say the same, it was very surprising for me to see a total stranger sharing my picture from a different platform on Twitter.

@alexanderdack It’s a photo of our football club 🤣🤣🤣 How could I credit you with something when I have no idea who you are, no idea image was in fact yours or that my friend didn’t just take it 🤷🏼‍♂️ It’s not something I’d normally question when a friend just sends me a message.
