The Lakers move into 6th in the USCAA week one coaches poll after a 7 game stretch going 6-1 during that time span. The Lakers travel to Trine University tomorrow and are at home vs Trine for a 4 game set over the weekend. Lakers look to remain hot over the weekend.

Update from this weekends innersquad scrimmage: Black team defeated Green team by a score of 2-0. Some stats include: @brayton_daniel (voted mvp) 5 innings 8ks 0 hits, followed by @alexanderdivo32 & @ColeNeely5 to complete the no-no @jacob80060414 going 3/4 with 2 rbi and a hr.

Strong starting pitching from @alexanderdivo32 and a 4-4 day at the plate from @DominickP27. Helps the team move the record to 2-1.
