Growing up in Canada, I’ve become so accustom to the (vastly superior) metric system, and the use of Celsius for measuring temperature. Everyone says Fahrenheit (based on the state of salt water) is a good metric for what it feels like… Well, let’s just say: at -40º I agree.

@rjonesy While I’ve since sold this house. I had 9 AirPort Express’ and they were rock solid.

7 years of rock solid AirPlay. No hiccups, lag, reboots, anything. I've never even turned one off!

@PRCrecluse674 @rjonesy AirPlay 1 didn’t have per-channel volume control. The last generation AirPort Express (2012 802.11n) received a firmware update in Aug 2018 to support the significantly improved AirPlay 2 protocol. In addition to volume control, the new protocol also supported longer buffering.

@SebAaltonen Not to go without notice… the entire phone now lives in the camera bump (aka the plateau). Having opened every iPhone released… I was wowed.

During these 6 years Apple managed to develop the best CPU architecture in the world. Outpacing both AMD and Intel. Also their GPU is nowadays state of the art, beating Nvidia in some areas (Nvidia is a $3T GPU company). I'd say Apple spend their $100B wisely in R&D.

Update on this Anker battery: I think this is the first one of their products I *would not* recommend. Gets warm, only charged my iPhone 16 Pro Max from 10-56% with the screen off, and it’s probably charging at 5W. Actually got the “Slow Charger” warning in battery settings, which is new in iOS 18. I’d go with Anker’s larger 10K “Ultra-Slim” instead

@rjonesy Just throwing this out there: I’ve had zero issues with Family Sharing for my Flighty purchase. I should note: it’s a lifetime copy, vs the subscription model.

I am THIS close to nixing all Family Sharing from Flighty. It hardly works and we can only say "ask Apple, good luck". On pace for 400 complaints this year.
