I did something unprecedented in my life today: I published my latest Astrocade game, Ragdoll Slingshots, WITHOUT ANY ATTEMPT AT POLISH. Instead, I focused exclusively on making the core game mechanic as fun and responsive as possible.

For the next few days I'll be GLUED to my analytics dashboard to see how players are responding. It's only when the median play time is where I want it that I'll even think about adding effects, UI styling, and other fancy refinements. ALWAYS BUILD FROM THE CORE MECHANIC OUTWARD!
