Re-emerging on here to share: my team launched a thing! With some awesome partners! Shoutout to @GDSTeam, @CDS_GC, & TTS’s 10x team for laying the groundwork, and my amazing TTS Public Benefits Studio colleagues for making it happen! We’ll report back on how pilots go — wooo!
GSA@USGSA

@USGSA is thrilled to announce @GSA_TTS' first group of partners to use Notify.gov: @NorfolkVA, @MontgomeryCoMD, & the states of #WI & #WA. The partners will use the text messaging service to help communicate benefit(s) info to the public. ➡️ gsa.gov/blog/2023/12/1…

I've long been inspired by @MayorWu and the new energy & inclusiveness her administration represents. Incredibly honored to return to a city I love as Chief of Staff and help strengthen @cityofboston as one of the most welcoming & livable cities in the world. So excited!!!
MayorWu@MayorWu

Thrilled to welcome @tchu88 as our next Chief of Staff. Tiffany’s work building innovative teams has already changed the world of transportation & city planning. I’m honored to have her leadership in Boston City Hall! bostonglobe.com/2022/01/26/opi…

@allafarce Dude. Yes. Sign me up. (Or deem me categorically eligible to help with this? Sorry, couldn’t resist 🤓)

Beginning to wonder if I should shift my efforts to just being a go-to for teams making verification policy design decisions. Gotta get the timing right, but if you do it seems to me a lot easier than trying to clean up a mess of a form grounded in complex policy design!

Who’s researching/working on this? What does working on this even look like? I want in. This has increasingly been a thing I can’t stop thinking about over the last few years, and it’s *NOT* just about women. I know plenty of men who would kill for more flexibility.

Decouple healthcare from employment & suddenly meaningful PT work is possible; periods of intense career focus & more family focus can *actually* align with the rhythms of individuals’ lives and minimize the (very real) cost of burnout and workforce dropout... the list goes on.

Going into the holiday weekend let’s honor the history - the intentionally less told history - of Memorial Day and how it was first organized by freed slaves in Charleston, SC. time.com/5836444/black-…

It's rare an agency is willing to release an 18F assessment - major kudos to the Administrative Office of the Courts for taking an open stance! This bodes well for the program. ☀️

Public services are a reflection of the time in which they were designed. The design reveals what, or who, society valued when that service was being created. What do we value today and how are we designing our services accordingly?

@laurenancona Ooh interesting, no not really, it’s more just a panicky, overwhelmed feeling, I just start to feel kind of frantic... sometimes I do feel like my legs kinda buckle though, so I often need to lie down when it’s bad
