American Fiction not at all what I was expecting from the trailers, but much, much more. Complicated characters all fighting their various corners, but not at the cost of scalpel-sharp barbs and some big, dumb belly laughs.

@mrbasil_pesto It's tough to get hold of atm, but his series Nirvana The Band The Show is one of a kind. Also recommend The Dirties, another film of his. He's a very interesting person to listen to in interviews - always passionate, always engaged.
