An El Nino episode requires 5 consecutive series to be declared. FMA came in at -0.5 RONI which is technically La Nina. we've seen drops of -0.6 between series before so I cojld easily expect MAM to land at +0.1 to +0.2. Then AMJ would be the first El Nino series.

The level of ignorance with our developing and arguably already developed #ElNino frustrates me. I've seen multiple users on here- particularly one i wont name, that refuse to accept its existence. Likely because they want impacts and more storms to track. (1/2)

Crazy low temperature swing this Sunday AM across Florida. 39 in Crestview. 80 in Key West. Even 50's made a visit to middle state. We definitely felt chilly. No way it was 'just' 60. Felt like 40s! 60s in Florida feels freezing to us natives. True story! spaghettimodels.com
