Yes, we're gonna go there. It's simply true that some women lie about SA. How many? Too many. Why? We evolved to (generally) protect women, and those "Silver Bullet" false claims of SA are an instant social victory.
This thread will host studies and stories of women who have made demonstrably false claims of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other claims of sexual misconduct. Thread is locked to followers. Retweets will remain locked, but a quote tweet should open comments on your own timeline. Follows will get a quick followback to open replies.
We have a visceral, immediate, emotionally violent, protective reaction to claims of sexual assault. It doesn't matter to society if the claim is true or false. If the claim is true, it deserves this evolved response. But if the claim if false, it's an intentional use of proxy violence and stochastic terrorism against men.
This is the power of #metoo, #believewomen, and even #believevictims (with the collective and specious assumption of female oppression, victimhood, and honesty). The claim itself is sufficient to destroy a man, regardless of it veracity. This is, indeed, the goal of almost every false allegation - to destroy the man.
How often does it happen? No one can be sure. When young college women themselves were surveyed, 7% admitted to having already made a false SA claim (at the age of 22), and 39.6% admitted they would consider making a false claim if it served their vested interests. Even 7% is a hell of a lot, particularly at the age of 22 with so many years ahead of them (in which they could make additional false claims). The actual number is higher. How high? We'll learn.
False claims are intended to injure a particular man (for revenge, regret, or pique), escape consequences and judgement for misconduct, or to financially profit through extortion. False allegations of sexual assault instantly incite emotional, social, legal, and physical violence against men.
As "proxy violence", ALL FALSE ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT ARE VIOLENCE - and are a uniquely devastating form of almost exclusively female violence. The frequency and severity of false allegations of SA rises with female mental health issues, and as a tactic in Family Law.
Why aren't women regularly punished for the violence of false allegations? A willingness to punish women would violate the evolved cognitive bias to protect women's reproductive potential even when we know they're lying. It just doesn't feel right to punish women - even if they don't have children.
Think of how many supporters Amber Heard still has today, even after her legal shellacking. That's what they're doing - protecting her born (and unborn) children. Didn't Ms. Heard "have a baby" (through a surrogate) before her trial? Stressful time. Why at that moment? Elizabeth Holmes (of Theranos infamy) did the same. Curious timing - perhaps to provoke this bias in the jury?
What is the evolved cognitive bias? It goes by many names. Dr. Tania Reynolds calls it "Gender Bias in Moral Typecasting". The American Psychological Association calls it "implicit gender bias". Seager and Barry would call it "Gamma Bias". Some call it "gynocentrism". It has many names, but only one face - and that face is malice against men.
Why can't we see the malice? We evolved to protect humanity's reproductive potential - a woman's eggs and uterus ARE that potential - and it served our past evolutionary purpose, if push came to shove, to sacrifice a man and keep the woman unless she had a child's blood on her hands.
She could have children with any other man of the tribe. Her contribution was indispensable - his was not. Unless he was a tribal leader, he was expendable - and the tribe's leaders all had sons who could replace his "contribution" eagerly with their own. He could likely survive as a cast-out "sigma". She would die. Such is the sociopathy of evolution.
The proxy violence of false sexual assault allegations by individual women, compounded by our evolved compulsion to protect women, and amplified by social media, has been weaponized by Modern Feminists into a false narrative of "rape culture", driven by nadir fallacy, confirmation bias, psychotic insight, psychotic mass formation, and internal purity tests, as a nuclear weapon against both men and boys throughout Western Democracy. It's time to stop the lies. It's purposeful social and stochastic terrorism. It's malicious. It's evil.
Society will look away, even when we can only reduce the frequency and severity of false allegations through exposure and education. Why? We don't WANT to think of women as liars. It goes against our evolved compulsion to protect women - yet we can only reduce the frequency of false allegations with education, exposure, and consequences. Don't look away.
Onward. Buckle up. This one is going to get ugly - because false allegations of sexual assault are almost always extraordinarily ugly.
