We're excited to update you on our ongoing partnership with the Department of Math and ICT Education, @CapeVars - Ghana's leading institution for public-sector teacher training!
The educators we’ve engaged are passionate about creating a brighter #future for children and communities. However, they struggle to find sustainable support to enhance their teaching experiences.
Hence they’re not able to prepare their #students for the demands of the #21stcentury and beyond.
To address this challenge, we've created @algopeers Leads, a community that provides continuous learning support and #access to #technology for future-ready #teaching and learning.
Iddrisu Inusah is one of 200 passionate teachers in training benefiting from this community. Through our localized Micro:bit Professional Development program, he is acquiring #coding skills and integrating them into #STEAM teaching practices, gaining valuable hands-on experience with the #microbit.
We're proud to offer this support for #free, ensuring #accessibility for all teachers regardless of their backgrounds. This way, teachers can inspire future generations to become problem-solvers and makers, creating their best digital future.
We're grateful to the @microbit_edu, @NordicTweets, and @LetsOKdo for their support in transforming Ghana's educational landscape through @algopeers.
Our free and accessible training programs will continue for the next 3-6 months, and many more educators across the country are already on our waitlist.
