@aliYWG In my experience in graduate school…a PhD means nothing. Many profs are so far up their asses in their own little delusional bubble. Just bc they have “Dr.” slapped in front of their name ain’t mean shit. They did not receive a PhD in morals or human decency.

This might be a controversial opinion but I think being “forced to grow up” as a kid makes you more immature as an adult. Working and paying bills doesn’t make you mature. It’s almost glamorized these days, but i think it’s trauma inducing more than anything…
