@a1_Rashid You misunderstood the point which is that he voluntary left that home for the siege after the Prophet’s ﷺ departure.

@aliasad1998 But the Prophet ﷺ didn't have him buried there? The siege took place after his passing. Am I misunderstanding something? Side note, something I find interesting is that Byzantine Christians venerated his grave for centuries and visited it to ask for rain during times of drought

To understand the philosophy of Islam, ask yourself why Abu Ayyub Ansari’s (RA) grave is located in Istanbul. Out of all the homes he could have honoured with his noble presence after migrating to Madinah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ chose to honour Abu Ayyub Ansari’s home with his stay. He ﷺ is the greatest of all creation whose physical presence is superior to all the worlds. Imagine the immeasurable stature of a house where he himself chose to stay. And the bond that Abu Ayyub Ansari would have formed with him. You would think that the man granted such an honour would live in that house for the rest of his life, even after the Prophet’s ﷺ departure. Never even leaving it, should death befall him outside its blessed walls. While making it clear that he would want to be buried in it. And yet Abu Ayyub Ansari passed away while taking part in the first siege of Constantinople. So ask yourself why Abu Ayyub Ansari’s (RA) grave is located in Istanbul.

Mind you he was roughly 80 years old when he took part in the siege. So old that he passed away from illness and not battle. 80 years old…

To top it off, an unsuccessful siege where his burial place would be completely forgotten until it was given its due honour by the ottomans who conquered Constantinople many centuries later. An intense desire for praxis but none for the worldly reputation or rewards it may bring

The issue with sending shipping containers to Iran via Pakistan was present before the US blockade because of sanctions which meant that Pakistani banks could not issue E Forms (because that would connect them to sanctioned markets and thus risk their own international standings). E forms which Customs requires. Therefore trade with Iran was very informal. But they are finding ways around it now. Something India was intelligently able to do for years through state backed banks with limited international exposure and of course because of their more robust systems. I brought this exact issue up at the CAREC conference in Islamabad in 2025 and have been researching Pakistan - Iran trade for years now because I understood where things were headed and how important this would be for both countries.

My Q: You were much more prepared to play through the off-side arc rather than your traditional heavy leg-side style of play. Was this a deliberate technical tweak to counter the wide-line strategy Rap bowlers were using, or are you broadening your downswing plane? @stevesmith49

I know it’s cool to hate on Radiohead because of how much praise they get but man who else can make something like this. This is one of the best songs ever but the outro 4:00 onwards is one of my favourite moments in all of music. As atmospheric as the entire song is, it still feels structured and restrained by the incredible vocals and percussion. But when the humming and strings kick in at 4:00 it stops feeling like a song and dissolves into pure atmosphere. It achieves this feeling of weightlessness that very few tracks in history have ever achieved. It doesn’t feel like a conventional climax but like an emotional release. It is floating rather than pushing forward. Most rock tracks build towards a peak. Louder, denser, more intense. Here they do the exact opposite. They unburden the track. It as if the song has opened a window and the air has been let in. It’s perfect.
