$4,700,000,000,000 is lost every single year by businesses around the world. Not from bad products. Not from poor marketing. Not from competition. From bad customer service. One slow reply. One missed booking. One receptionist having a bad day. That is all it takes for a customer to leave and never come back. 65% of customers stop working with a brand after just one bad experience. The hotel owner running 12 receptionists on rotating shifts does not think he has a customer service problem. He thinks he is covered. He is not. 3am inquiry from a guest who wants to book 4 rooms for next weekend. Nobody there. Gone. That guest booked somewhere else in 8 minutes. This is happening every single night in hotels, restaurants, and clinics across the MENA region. The businesses that figure this out first are going to own their markets. The ones that wait are going to wonder why their competitor keeps growing while they stay exactly where they are.

I’ve been told to journal every single day. Honestly, I don’t see the benefits of doing it every day. What I do is, I film a 3-5 min journal of myself talking to myself every week. I can see the progress that I’ve been achieving by looking back. Do you journal? If yes, what’s one advice you would give to someone who doesn’t.

Small habits shape the life you want. Once you take control over the small stuff, You’ll realize how powerful your daily habits are.
