Introducing DockDash Build and push docker images in Rust, without docker → Simple API → No Docker required → Runs anywhere - serverless functions, sandboxes, ... → Push to any OCI registry (ECR, GCR, ACR, ...) → Zstd layer compression, incremental builds → No filesystem required

hey @thdxr, as an alien, I can tell you that there are 1 MILLION enterprise users just *waiting* to use your product in extremely dumb/simple ways but they can't, because their enterprise security team won't allow them. there's no chance they'll share codebase or even prompts with an external vendor now you provide self-hosting and that's great... but here's the thing about these enterprises users: just like they'll use your product in extremely dumb/simple ways, it's too complicated for them to start self hosting lol. they either don't know how, too lazy to maintain and manage it, and don't want to take responsibility for updates or security vulnerabilities the funny thing though is that these enterprise customers will probably increase your acv by 999999% to get to those 1 million enterprise users you need a special kind of self-hosting where everything is fully managed by you. I'm a friendly alien and I can help!

i pay attention to: 99%: using our product in dumb/simple ways and will never change behavior 0.01%: aliens who are showing us the distant future ignore the reminder: "pro" users who think they invented some clever workflow every week but get less done than the 99% group

Man, these LLMs are alien technology. I'm, running the @cursor_ai SDK in a very minimal agent exoharness (it manages bindings, auth, config, observability, durable state, sandboxes, but nothing harness or tool level or above ..) From there, the agent was able to build support for Discord, browser use, WhatsApp integration, self modify its environment etc. These agents need almost no infra. Less is more.

Query a data warehouse behind a VPC. No VPN. No tunneling. No credentials shared. Zero inbound networking. Passwords never exposed. Works on AWS, GCP, Azure.

Your tests should run on the same cloud your customers use. Now they can - with one flag. AWS, GCP, Azure. Same code, same tests, any cloud.

I finally understood the real cheat code for finding killer engineers. In the past 48 hours I've had 5 insanely strong interviews. No exaggeration - real A-players. I planned to go remote and global from day 1 for a bunch of reasons. What I didn't fully grasp is how dramatically it changes talent density. When you remove geography, you stop hiring from "who's nearby" and start hiring from "who's best". The pool becomes the entire planet. The bar goes up immediately. So my filter is simple: 1. Are you exceptional at your craft? 2. Can you communicate clearly, take ownership, and work well with others? I don't care where you’re from, what passport you hold, or what timezone you’re in. But you have to be a strong writer. If you can't explain complex ideas clearly in English, remote breaks. Writing is thinking. --- If you’re a strong Rust engineer who uses AI coding agents to move faster without lowering the bar, and you want to build with killers, DM me!
