I've always found my opinion in the middle here. I don't think people should be wearing puphoods before lunch time, but I understand wanting to be in a child-free space. Maybe family friendly cons could have weekend days be adults only? I also think ANY rave should be 18+.

Make all furry conventions +18 or +21 at this point. I can't fathom why minors are allowed (with parental/guardian consent) at big US cons. You can't deny the adult nature of cons and the fandom.

@ItzRileyMan I know why they do it, and it's gross. Fox news doesn't care about the victims or giving people an identifiable face(outside of suit) so more potential victims could come forward.
I know they intentionally put his fursuit only to drive up moral panic for their target audience

@SnowyDaFurry I do like what anthrcon did with the adult only section! I just wish the "dances" there were 18+.. considering I stepped on a needle at the rave. The bag checks do not eliminate drugs which i why i dont think there should be ANY children there

@aliencatazira furrydelphia has a 9pm switchover where the defined con space becomes adults only, and anthrocon blocks off a section (and some panels) for adult things.
raves could be a little more gated, mainly since younger people may be more susceptible to epilepsy and whatnot
