“I will remain here and am not resigning” - President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He’s challenging the independent panel report that recommended he face an impeachment inquiry over the Phala-Phala scandal. By doing so, he’s blocking that inquiry from proceeding - until the courts rule.

In October 2024 we reminded Mr Ramaphosa the Ngcobo Panel report was binding and not set aside by any court of law.
Any action to try set aside the Ngcobo Panel report now would be definitively in bad faith and done to frustrate the enforcement of a Constitutional Court order.

Clearly, the conscience of President Cyril Ramaphosa is telling him to resign.
