maybe i'm too woke but i find it interesting that the majority of the big bad religion's scripture sets a strict path for the lives of three queer kids and preordains a terrible fate of some kind for them

@lAZUliLudicrous Again, chara can be a tragic character and still be judged by their evil acts
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel The reason asriel died too was because like you said he didn't want to kill humans he had a much more peaceful way of solving things in mind it's their clashing ideas of what a resistance is
English

this is so disheartening to victims of abuse, specifically CHILDREN who had lost all their hope in the world they started to hate humans. This behaviour should be fixed as people grow up but chara was a child they never had that chance. Lets treat abuse victims like shit i guess
SexiestPotato@Papaenbikini
@dtasriel Chara isn't determined by the player they were already a bad person before us (bullying Asriel, poisoning Asgore and hating humans and wanting revenge in general)
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel Again I'm aware that asriel was pressured but it wasn't because chara is a secretly evil baby who did all of this just to kill humans the plan originally only had them be sacrificed for monsterkind to escape the underground
In their head they were the only one who had to die
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel I'm sure he was skeptical about it from the start and he especially hated it when chara DIED for it.
He still took the soul and still went out which to chara is just him going with the plan? I'm sure it was obvious to Asriel but it wasn't for Chara
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel I will write this in spanish because writing it in english is killing my brain

@starsabliss @dtasriel it depends on what they did to them, not if they did get abused.
and even then it wouldnt be really justified
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel Why does it need to be outright stated that they were abused ???? It is obviously implied .
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel Asriel said that they wanted to use "Full power" against the village
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel And I hate when their resistance is labeled as evil. It was rash, and it failed, but it was absolutely not intended to be evil (also why would they kill other children? Unless the village folk throw their children into battle)
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel 3-given that hundreds of years have passed since the monsters were imprisoned. They might not even know anything; they might have simply seen a monster with a dead child in its arms.
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel What about children of monsterkind? Do they not have the right to leave? The whole point is that Chara thinks of THEM first
"What about the few innocent randos" in charas eyes their silence is oppression. Staying silent when another is oppressed makes you an oppressor too.
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel 2- who then saw him dead and risked their lives to avenge him, knowing how powerful a monster with a human soul was.
It's also naive to believe that everyone has the power to change a system applied worldwide, especially since we don't really know how much humans know about this-
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel You ignored the fact about causing a Adults and children genocide, you cant justify it.
Even if they thought that it was right,
"What about the few innocent randos" i didnt say that, its ridiculous to think that everyone in the town abused some kid that-
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel again the character being tragic doesnt erase their sins.
Im not saying that its a bad character or that i hate it, im just saying that they did some pretty evil shit, thats it
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel They may be some of my favorite characters, but the way Asgore and Toriel (Asgore especially) spoke of Chara as "the last hope of human and monsterkind" affected their already unstable psyche. Charas plan is a product of their hatred for humans and pressure to save monsterkind
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel Chara wanted to use full power on a village when we know that a monster with a human soul is extremely powerful, even if you argue that humans started the war or that that village abused chara you cant justify the destruction of a village that includes kids,, and randoms
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel The tragedy in Asriel and Charas deaths is that in an attempt to save their people they both ended up dead because of their different ways of handling the situation they're in (asriel wanting a more peaceful solution while chara wanting to put up a resistance against oppressors)
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel Im not implying it im stating it, CHARA took control over asriel against his will, he tried to "resist it" and that caused his death, asriel wasnt willing to do it, he didnt want to do it, he says that multiple time on the true lab´s tapes
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel Against his will implies they knew Asriel didn't agree to it when that wasn't the case at all? Ariel was willing to do it and backed out last second (understandably so, but you're implying Chara forced him to when they didn't)
English

@PAIGEDEADLOCKED @dtasriel And i was lowballin with the "indirect death" of asriel, they DID cause his death, because they took over his body and tried to cause massive murder
English

@aliracoon @dtasriel Assuming Chara wasn't abused, they'd still be a mentally unwell child regardless? Their fall to the underground was a suicide attempt and if you don't think it is then you at least know damn well their plan to save monsterkind literally involved them poisoning themself???
