In the BS style of planned obsolescence, turns out Google recently stopped supporting Pixel 3 updates, saying "thx for 3 great years". So now Pixel 3 just a tiny computer 🪦 Looking for fun things to do with it as I set up my new iPhone 🙄

Last summer my Pixel 3 got stuck in restart loop and I swore I would get a new phone. But I didn't (sw bug, hw was fine) Last night it happened again, in addition to *constantly calling 911* unprompted 💀 (sw bug again)

@KarlTheMartian If it makes you feel any better, in Quebec we have an app and it just saves and displays the QR code, no authentication. But it makes everything seem more official 😅

For those with any experience with authentication systems, this gets so frustrating. It seems that there's no thought to the risk of copying (impersonation). It should have been an app with a digitally signed, rotating code.
