Here’s another uncomfortable truth about Transsexual healthcare. Medicalization does not work as well for natal women who want to live as men. Natal women are nearly the entire population of detransitioners. Testosterone, being an incredibly powerful drug, introduces serious health complications. And the biggest problem is the social contagion. Most of these girls are gonna grow out of it, unlike properly diagnosed trans women. I am a literal transsexual, and if I had a teenage daughter wanting to transition, I would not affirm her gender. I would let her express herself however, she wished, but I would not introduce testosterone into the equation. In my view, male to female transsexuals are a completely different phenomenon than whatever is going on with these natal girls. The truth is, we basically copied the criteria we use for transsexual women assuming we are the same thing. Recent evidence suggests we are not.

@BriannaWu the problem with being a well-known figure and advocating for this point is that you will inevitably be called transphobic and deplatformed for not accepting trenders, be the person mtf or ftm. especially if you're famous. there also aren't near as many famous ftms as mtfs.

@BriannaWu clinical protocol is the diagnosis of gender dysphoria and the elimination of informed consent. very few with actual diagnoses detransition, and i don't mean those who get letters from folx.

A friend of mine tried to explain that trans people just want to “live their lives” and to his horror I had to show him what “egg cracking” was on Reddit and discord. He immediately got on board with banning trans people across the country.

@HorniOnMan @supermoe1985 you do not have to be on hrt or have surgery yet. the only requirement for being trans is gender dysphoria. how someone proceeds from there isn't my business. however, priority should be given to those with the need to medically transition for our health and well-being.

@LavenderRouge @magicphr0g @Samaugsch @bumbadum14 yet i still bound my chest and called myself a boy before i knew what being trans was. i knew i liked boys and girls from the time i was 8. it wasn't sexual, i just found both genders pretty. there are predators in every group, but the whole group is not the individual.
