I need sewing stuff but I want yarn...

4 yr old is stuffing knitted penguins in my bra claiming they need to nurse. Appeals to logic (stuffed birds don't nurse) are useless.

Living in east Jesus may have advantages but being able to find a no. 65 sewing needle or more French lace isn't one of them.

On the way to zoo party. Husband is driving and am running out of yarn. No embroidery or smocking in purse. May have to sit unoccupied.

Zoo party was fun but I wish daughter was as sleepy as me. Had to go to work so early. So sleepy...

Has started batiste daygown for baby gift and knitted on baby blanket for different gift. Trying to decide what to start for my daughter.

The daygown will be beautiful. Baby blue with ecru lace and bullion roses. I'm so excited.

Can I just beam myself to a city with children's fabric and a yarn store? Oh and a book store.

There is a yarn festival in driving distance to me. Road trip!

Need second sewing machine to put in living room with kids. This is why knitting is easier. Needles much more portable.
