.@WhipKClark (D-MA): "What a disgrace to spend the days before [Memorial Day] debating this budget. This budget that puts over $70B into ICE, that is promoting and funding a gilded ballroom, and that is putting together a slush fund for allies of the president."

@Johnny_Joey And 57% in LA were homeless in another area, first. Addicts can't benefit from treatment until they're clean for at least 30 days, and their mental health issues are typically related to chronic use. First, diagnose the problem correctly; second, apply the correct solution.

@TheBigMoneyShow Is the housing crisis really a supply issue when demand was juiced by rampant illegal migration? Are the solutions different for supply v. demand problems?

@PaulDMauro A return to the slum projects of the 60s will surely be preferable to having billionaires who care for their property and support local businesses, right?

Big win. The House just passed a housing bill that removed Elizabeth Warren’s poison pill, and now major Wall Street institutions can’t buy up single family homes. This was a pipe dream just 6 months ago and now it’s about to become law. Senate needs to pass this damn bill!
DC_Draino tweet media
DC_Draino@DC_Draino

The Senate housing bill was supposed to increase supply, lower costs, and stop Wall Street from buying up our family homes. Now last minute provision from Elizabeth Warren forcing new homes to be sold after 7 years would do the exact opposite. You don’t solve a housing shortage by discouraging new inventory, and if Poca’s friends are celebrating, then we might want to rethink the plan here.

@RepYassAnsari @USProgressives Government created the housing shortage by juicing demand through unfettered illegal migration, so it's a manufactured shortage. Deal with manufactured demand instead of supply. Taxpayers have a right to not bear the cost of a global housing demand.

🚨BIG NEWS: The House just passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. This transformative bill builds on policies I implemented back home before coming to Congress—because no one should ever have to choose between keeping a roof over their head or putting food on the table.

@TheFive @greggutfeld How does Harold propose to correct the errors of the last Census that overcounted D districts and undercounted R districts? Essentially, it was a theft of 6 R seats with a claim that it couldn’t be corrected until the next decade

A gallon of gas now costs $5 in Connecticut. Diesel is $6. This is ruining people who live paycheck to paycheck, small businesses, farmers and the trucking industry. And there is only person who has caused prices to be this high: DONALD TRUMP.

8 years ago, Trump ripped up the JCPOA — a deal that prevented Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. Now, this regime has chosen Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, neither of whom has relevant experience, to try to negotiate the same deal Trump killed in 2018. It's ridiculous.

I read everywhere about the 'hard right' This the term used to describe people who are Islamosceptic - that is, people who are doubtful about the merits of a religion that demands child marriage, the beating of women, and death to all who oppose it Perhaps 'sensible right' would be a better description

Instead of trying to earn more votes, Republican officials across the South are executing a systematic effort to dismantle Black political representation in Congress through gerrymandering. It's time for broad reforms to end this kind of gerrymandering for good.

@YourAnonNews I'm absolutely against this. Only cronies will see the redistribution, if at all, and there will be more fraud. The federal government isn't involved in teacher pay, that's just the hook they use to get fools to vote for them. Funds will all go to federal employees, not people

Your party held an illegal election, the state Supreme Court struck it down (as your governor’s team warned it would), and the *unanimous* US Supreme Court declined to intervene & bail you out. Man, your list of fantasized murder targets must really be growing.
