@yonanestel @BradMBradford Right. Secord, the only school, is going to be replaced - but what will happen to the childcare, Secord Community Centre, Neighbourhood Information Centre, Seniors programs etc. ? Planning didn't take place between City and School Board. What are the plans?

@HousingNowTO Actually I do know a bit about this. Construction was delayed by a small group of somewhat distant homeowners who believed we would be able to see into their backyards. I don't think that was ever true, and at least based on what I heard our actual neighbours were supportive.

If you want to share the building details, our volunteers can go back to research all the hoops your "Not-for-Profit" developer was made to jump-thru by various levels of Government in order to make your #AffordableHousing building a viable project. WHEN & WHERE are huge factors.

@MikePMoffatt We live in an affordable, climate friendly three bedroom apartment that we own thanks to a non-profit developer. I am a bit stumped as to why there aren't more homes like ours, since it has appreciated lots. I guess the margin on two new bachelors is still higher?

@MillennialsGTA @MikePMoffatt I don't watch that closely because we don't plan to move, but I believe similar units have sold for about twice what we paid. We moved in three years, ago, though we did buy pre-construction I think four years before that.
