Disabled people begged employers to transition to permanent WFH arrangements bc they are accessible, AS WELL AS environmentally sustainable, now yall get to scramble AGAIN, rebuild remote infrastructure AGAIN, pay for empty office space AGAIN. Ok 👍

@chantz_y They can’t afford the sick days, there’s huge risk of long term disability (and we know how well supports and resources for disability is funded), and now they can’t afford gas to get to work. What’s unreasonable about wfh… I don’t understand the logic tbh.

I see some people angry at those who advise to stock up supplies, food and meds (please don’t hoard!)… because it’s not possible for them. I agree that it’s unfair & sad. I myself am limited & rely on meds to stay alive. This is a very scary time. I still want those who *can* to be prepared as much as possible. It’s also what will help others, what could help me. Also, I haven’t seen a single person judge those who can’t prepare for the coming mess, quite the contrary.

@Lawsome_ Well Kathryn, I would also submit that it is worrisome that your CEO is unable to learn a single french sentence despite 600h of courses and 14 year french immersion. Most people could probably learn mandarin/german in that time frame. You expect your CEO to be smart, no?
