The NCAA Division I FBS Oversight Committee has approved changes to the targeting penalty structure for the 2026 season, per @PeteNakos.
🔹A player who is ejected for targeting will be able to play in the next game
🔹If a player is ejected for a second targeting penalty, they'll miss the first half of the next game
🔹If a player is ejected for a third targeting penalty, it'll result in a one-game suspension.
The NCAA has also announced that offensive pass interference will now carry a 10‑yard penalty instead of 15.
