@Amorthebaby If there was a babe who wanted to bleach her skin to feel beautiful no one would be saying “let her do what she wants you all talk about colorism too much”

being a black woman feels like being pulled in every direction. thats why your natural hair journey should be personal and at your own pace

All this because people don't wanna act like Burmese hair is not naturally growing out their scalp. Ya'll and your nasty wigs on tiktok and ripping them off your heads online is exactly the reason why black women are always getting dragged online

for me its the fact tht people pretend they dnt know the source of why bw might hate their hair. spoiler alert its society AND other bw. bw talk about bw hair so much and its literally insane. in good and bad ways. and we’ve all done it but i do my best not to do it
Aerin@FromAerin

I knew lots of black girls that grew up getting torn to shreds when they wore their natural hair. You don’t simply grow out of those feelings. Even as an adult woman, my ppl will come up to me and tell Me they accept my curl pattern over others/theirs.

@allthingsak I’ve seen you under several posts about this topic this morning so I’m not surprised you can’t tell what’s a genuine dig or not. You’re dizzy from all the fighting. I’m tweeting with a kinky curly wig on my head rn 🤷🏾‍♀️

just wanted to say that it might be true that your wigs are “less maintenance” but it does not mean it looks better than your own hair, or even “good” at all.

Mind you these are all made of fiber hair… why do you people like to pretend you don’t know what people are talking about. Even with braids now we try to mimic looser curl patterns. Please before fr

I’m pretty sure it’s just ramifications of the 2000s style revival. Before they were called “boho knotless” i remember them being called singles, individuals, and a whole host of names. They were quite popular among everybody

@HlpMeRhondaYa @Provokethoughtz @tiffany_two Ahahah yea, well you’d be doing the laundry, cooking and cleaning if you were single. So shut up, put a load of cloths on, make me a sandwich and don’t forget to clean up when you’re done.

@allthingsak @stonerwaffle710 @GraceRoe5142 Nah if men were saying they are afraid to go out at night but the rates of attacks were higher for women, you would laugh at them. Hell i bet a lot of you would laugh at a man saying he’s afraid to go out at night now even with us having higher rates of being attacked
