Another 38% came from other states. Meanwhile, politicians across the country slash housing, healthcare, and mental health funding, then point at California and scream “failed blue city.” This is not just an LA problem. It’s a national crisis.

The explosion of street vendors that are killing Korean business in Ktown with anarchy is orchestrated by these two councilmembers. These two clowns are enacting lax policies and third world standards as a form of economic restribution (their actual words). You won't find street vendors in front of Malibu Country Mart or West Hollywood. Ktown is an economic powerhouse punching way over its weight but unfortunately Koreans make up only 10% of the district they are assigned to, so they have almost no say in their own civic operation. Frankly, the policies feel destructive on purpose. They should split off Koreatown and Wilshire into a new district and let these two politicians experiment with other neighborhoods they control.
