Other fanbases are being so weird about the Mahomes video. They sound insecure tbh.

One takeaway from talking with coaches is how smart/creative defenses are getting. You hear about coverage rotations but there so many things we don’t see that defenses do to trick QBs/OCs now that makes running a high volume passing attack is extremely hard. You better be able to run the ball to take the load off of your QB.

@ServoResPublica And that's before injuries. You guys acting like your "all-time great" QB can't be expected to lead a functioning offense because he only has 4 spots on the line covered is just the weakest shit ever. Absolutely pathetic.

@ServoResPublica You guys still blaming the OL for the offense being bad in 2024 is the perfect example of what I'm saying. There are maybe 15 solid, starting level tackles in the NFL at each position. Basically every team is dealing with at least two weak spots on the OL at any time.

@ServoResPublica You guys didn't want to hear about football being a team sport when having an all-star supporting cast inflated his stats. What he's been dealing in the last 3 years is just a regular situation for an NFL QB.

@GenZCharlie Maybe he should've tried harder in the regular season then.

@allthingsnfl__ It’s a different game. I will add that when he has lost to a team in the regular season he’s undefeated when facing them again (except for the bengals and patriots).

@ServoResPublica Too bad there aren't any playoff berths being handed out for having similar passing yards and touchdowns to Josh Allen up to week 15

@allthingsnfl__ Hatred, jealousy, bargaining, acceptance Mahomes had similar passing yards and touchdowns to Josh Allen up to week 15. This is a team sport and an elite QB cant do it alone

@GenZCharlie So the stakes weren't high when you played the Bills, Texans and Broncos with the playoffs on the line?

@allthingsnfl__ Now show his stats when he actually plays them in the playoffs. The playoffs and “playoff teams” are very different terms.

@SavageSports_ Mahomes was the leading mvp Candidate half way through the year, even with a revolving door at offensive tackle and wide receiver. The chiefs had a terrible year, Mahomes was the 1 bright spot before the wheels fell off. Nice try

The clear winner of the first half: Patrick Mahomes. Y'all wanted someone other than the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. You reap what you sow.

@EazyDB @EmployedChiefs You do realize that the Patriots actually got the ball back in regulation after they tied the game? Almost 5 minutes + 3 timeouts is plenty of time and the Patriots could've easily played it in a way that would've, at the very least, forced the Falcons to convert another series.

@allthingsnfl__ @EmployedChiefs No matter what the patriots did the next possession they would’ve needed an onside kick recovery to still have a chance if ATL just plays for the FG

@EazyDB @EmployedChiefs Their defense was so gassed that every Patriots drive at that point was effectively a guaranteed 6 points. They knew that their only way to win was taking more time off the clock with their offense. That's why they didn't settle for the field goal.

@EazyDB @EmployedChiefs What you guys are missing is the Falcons playing man on almost every down and the Patriots finishing the game with 72 total dropbacks. The Falcons had to play aggressive till the end because their defense was totally finished. A field goal here wouldn't have won them the game.
