Today we accompanied the minister to Silverleaf Primary school to monitor the back on track programme. These learners walked in storming rain to attend the back on track classes because (in their own words) "We want to become better in our school work."

So here is why it is so important for us to ensure that our children can read in SA. #BackOnTrack

Our second #BackOnTrack War Room is underway, with officials from across the province providing updates and feedback, and working together to resolve challenges as we move through the programme to reverse learning losses in the Western Cape.
