Slot inherited a great side, because of Klopp. Slot will be respected and valued because he won the league, but he's not a good fit emotionally, and not the answer long term.

Good piece on the @SecondCaptains this week about Slot and LFC. Thought Rory Smith and Rich Jolly spoke well about the possibility/probability of Slot staying on after the summer, and of how Alonso is not guaranteed to be appointed, nor is he guaranteed to be better than Slot.

@Corballyred Yes, first 6 months was a mixture of him tweaking the system & memory muscle from the Klopp era. Longer he is there more damage he will do, like Souness who should have been fired long before he was.

@almdemo Fair point. As soon as he started dismantling Klopp's system, it began falling apart— signs of that were already evident by Feb 25 👍

Knew we had serious issues with Slot when, instead of planning next season, he was partying in Ibiza before PL even finished. Imagine Alex Ferguson —the most successful PL manager ever—in a DJ booth celebrating the title before season end. Guarantee you players definitely weren't impressed. That was the beginning of the end for Slot 👍
