@ncbrady Next step is to get rid of windows on the Pro X and get Linux on that as well and then I’ll go for the desktop :)

Changing to #Linux on the old #Surface pro 5 really has given it new life. Everything is so snappy compared to windows running on it. Given the state of #proton I really don’t see any benefit in keeping windows on my desktop PC either

@ncbrady I created a bootable usb drive with the Arch iso, followed the install instructions on their wiki and then installed the Surface Linux kernel here: github.com/linux-surface/… Touch, pen etc. is working beautifully
