We’ve reached a point where the genie simply can’t be put back in the bottle. I hear the usual drivel from establishment Dems, saying we can sort this in the midterms. In 2026, America will be living in a political landscape equivalent to the Gaza Strip. Dems face being the political equivalent of Palestinians. Before anyone jumps on me for this equivalence given the unspeakable suffering of the Palestinian people. I would ask you to tune in tomorrow for my take on that humanitarian catastrophe. If Democrats cared about those they failed in November, Florida 1 and Florida 6 would be flooded with ground based operatives every day in the run up to the special elections taking place on April 1st. Instead, it’s down to the efforts of independent Dem activist who are getting NO SUPPORT from the @DNC, who clearly believe these are un-winnable seats not worth investing in. Never has there been a better example of failure than their inaction. This is the same DNC that spent over a billion dollars to lose the House, the Senate, the White House and the popular vote. Right now red districts are absolutely pissed with Musk and DOGE, and what Trump is doing to veterans. Republicans dare not even hold Town Halls even in strong red districts. NEVER has there been a better chance to capture 2 seats and even up the House, with one special election still to come in New York. In my opinion, it’s an act of gross negligence and an indictment on what is now a rotting carcass that was a party who once stood up for what’s right. They should hang their head in shame right now. I know this may sound harsh, but it’s what I believe. All this nonsense about Kamala really won and we were robbed, is a fools errand Republicans would love Dems to try and litigate. It’s like mourning the death of a once dear friend. It won’t bring them back. The attached clip is heartbreaking. This organizer is literally killing herself to try and win these 2 seats not because on paper they’re winnable, but because they are a democratic imperative. I genuinely fear for Zee’s mental health, as I watch her throwing every hour of every waking day armed with just a willingness to die on this hill. Never have a defeated political party been so submerged in self pity. They find themselves in this position it seems, for no other reason than predictable self preservation.
