BREAKING NEWS: Two EA-18G Growlers have crashed at Mountain Home Air Force Base during today’s Gunfighter Skies Air Show. Four parachutes were seen deployed following a mid-air collision between both aircraft.

Officer Involved Shooting Update: (Waterford Township)   ***Preliminary Investigation***   Troopers located a Silver Kia wanted for fleeing the police stopped along the roadway near Deer Path Trail and Rookery Blvd. in Waterford. The troopers attempted to make contact with the driver, but the driver drove away, eventually driving off the road and coming to a stop in a grassy area in the 700 block of Apopka Street.   Troopers then made contact with the driver and observed that he was armed. They attempted to get him to throw the weapon out the car window, but the suspect did not comply. After several attempts to get the suspect to throw out his weapon, several shots were fired.   The suspect, a 60-year-old male from Madison Heights, was pronounced dead on the scene. There were no injuries to troopers, officers, or the public. The Third District Investigative Response Team is currently investigating the shooting. Two troopers and an MSP sergeant who were involved in the shooting are on administrative leave.

We surprised Alex with a special speaking engagement with one of his favorite aerobatic pilots @mikegoulian. Victors Aviation put on a great presentation and it was awesome hearing stories from Michael Goulian. He was a great speaker and took time for autographs and photos.
