So what about the US blockade @johnredwood , why no mention of that?
That the US is selling oil and gas, including Venezuela, and making billions, and helpling Putin do the same, now sanctions on Russian oil and gas are lifted.
Which in turn, is allowing him funding to bolster his war, on #Ukraine.

@spectator That was the most minor telling off by Hoyle ever!
English

Handbags at noon! It’s always nice to watch Sir Keir Starmer descend into the sort of incandescent fury that living under his government induces from most people on a daily basis. The absolute standout moment of today’s PMQs was one not caught by the cameras but a behind-the-scenes bit of piggy rage from the PM. Sir Keir Starmer’s anger when Lindsay Hoyle told him that it wasn’t ‘leader of the opposition’s questions’ was visible. But it was after the session, when a puce-coloured Starmer had an argument with Hoyle that the real joy was to be had, culminating in his flouncing out of the chamber. As he did so, he shot the Speaker an absolutely filthy look. Get her!

@AjaTheEmpress The FCO doesn't tell gay travellers not to go there. Why then are people getting asylum for being gay?
English

If you said this a year ago the BBC and our government would have called you a far-right racist.

Why is everything about this country suddenly so mind numbingly insane?
We invented liberty and a few hundred years later ended up telling bakeries that they’re not allowed to advertise their cakes or pastries.

BBC to cut almost one in 10 staff to make £500m savings. Axing entire channels or services not ruled out.
Director General: "The gap between our costs and our income is growing. This is being driven by a number of factors: production inflation remains very high; our licence fee and commercial income is under pressure; and the global economy remains turbulent."
National Union of Journalists: "Plans for further cuts follow years of real-terms budget reductions and relentless cost-saving measures which have impacted core parts of the corporation. This can't go on. The BBC cannot provide quality journalism without the talented and experienced workers who make it possible."

A group of boys at the protest in EPSOM were being encouraged to throw dirt at police, not good in my opinion.
But then an officer stepped forward and called one of the kids out by name and told him to go home!
So funny to watch him scarper.

Just watched the clip from @TomSwarbrick1's show. At no point is Powell asked if she owns any sex toys. She just volunteers the information, presumably in the spirit of Labour's renewed interest in transparency.

My wife and I pass the same $100 bill back and forth every day. When I get home from work, she gives it to me in compensation for my labor which pays for everything we own. When we go to bed, I give it back to her as payment for taking care of our home and our children. In this way, perfect equilibrium of supply and demand in the family economy is preserved. She once suggested replacing the $100 bill with a hug and a kiss, and I quickly rebuked her for this pathetic display of false consciousness and bourgeois sentimentalism: "honey, why be partner to your own alienation?"

I guess the answer here is for women to return to subsidizing the male lifestyle, which would not exist if women didn’t massively subsidize it by doing men’s cooking, cleaning, laundry, childcare, and all other manner of life organizing.
