"Golgotha" traces back to ancient Egyptian funeral music once played for kings. The Egyptian Church preserved it and chants it only once a year on Good Friday mourning the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, with tones rooted in Egypt’s ancient sorrowful heritage.

"Settler colonialism" isn't just "𝑥 conquered, settled, and made a colony"; it's a cudgel of opprobrium used by academic historians, and ofc they're going to police how it's used outside their circles and adjust its definition to get the job done and keep the riff-raff out.
Sami Gold@souljagoyteller

Academic historians won’t call the Arabization of the Middle East “settler colonialism” for the same reason they won’t label the destruction of Carthage a “genocide”: it’s anachronistic, and fundamentally against the historical method. What you want is propaganda

“Then he [Adam] came to that glorious tree of the Cross, put on glory from it, acquired radiance from it, heard from it the truth that he would return to Eden once more.” —St. Ephrem the Syrian, Hymns on Paradise XII.7

I’m afraid Jesus is a Francis version 2. Seems to have a critical bias of all things pedophilic and genocidal. We have a woke liberal God. Again. Tragic.

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

@sougabrielbr Perfeito.

@parhypostates Whether it is intellection, sense-perception, or a “rising” to receive form, all things have intentionality. But this means the knowledge of the Good all things invariably have isn’t merely metaphor but precisely, in different degrees, a “wakefulness” for it

There's a similar argument that you can identify in the later platonists, cf. Ennead V.5.12 + Proclus' treatments of the unity of the soul. Compressing them all into one it'd be roughly something like:
