I was in the labour room with my wife in the first 2 pregnancies, but this 3rd one humbled me. I have never been so close to her in the labour room & much involved like this 3rd one. When I wheeled her in, she was 5cm dilated. So only one nurse was with her prepping her & before you know it, she was 10cm in a matter of minutes, so the other members of the team were not expecting it so soon. So just me and the nurse in the labour room, and contractions were happening so quickly in rapid successions. Then nurse held her right leg when asked to push and told me to pull her left leg backwards too. This made me much involved this time around. Till the baby’s head came out, I held her left leg backwards each time she pushed. I saw her bite her teeth so hardly like someone convulsing, I saw the pain, so unbearable all through the process. I could only pet her and tell her she was making progress while I fought back tears. The pain was so much. But thank God it didn’t last long 48 hours after, her whole body was in pain, the right part of her mouth paralyzed in a way such that she couldn’t use that part to chew or even close it, until prayers were offered and God intervened. This is the reason it is evil to mistreat your wife and the mother of your children. No man on earth can go through 10% what they went through in labour and child birth, None. Only God can punish any man who treats his wife badly. You resist the favour of God over your life when you do this.

This morning, in Lagos, I met with the U.S. Consul General, Mr Rick Swart, where we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship. We focused on promoting credible elections in Nigeria, ensuring they are free from interference, and fostering a space where all political parties, especially opposition parties can thrive, and contribute. We also discussed trade and business opportunities between our countries. Accompanying me to the meeting was Dr Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo. The discussion was very productive, and we are hopeful that, moving forward, Nigeria’s elections will be even more credible and transparent. -PO

I NEED YOUR HELP After 3 years of trying, I’ve finally secured admission to study a recycling course in Europe. I’ve never sought help online before, everything I own today, I worked for. I started this journey in 2022 when I first saw the Reverse Vending Machines, ATMs for plastic recycling. It which sparked something in me, and I decided to pursue a future in Recycling field. The process hasn’t been easy. I faced multiple delays with document verification and legalization, and I spent a lot just to get through those stages. Some of you that knows the European routes will understand I lost my dad along the way 2 years ago. That period slowed everything down, but I didn’t give up. I also had to take the IELTS twice, spending over ₦500,000 before finally passing. The result expires this November and I'll have to write another one if i don't go this winter semester. After applying to several schools, many of which required deposits, I finally got accepted in November last year. I was initially given March to apply for my residence permit, but I pushed it to June to raise funds. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, I haven’t been able to gather enough. Right now, I have just this month to raise ₦10 million to complete my residence permit application. This is my last hope. I have all my documents available, admission letter, IELTS result, and verification proofs, for anyone who wants confirmation. If you can support me in any way, please do. No amount is too small. Kled just banned all of Nigeria, citing "95% fraud," and the internet gave them a standing ovation. I did 5 minutes of research. Here's what Sensor Tower shows for last month: Worldwide installs: 30,000 Top 3 countries: Malaysia, Indonesia and Nigeria The United States — where they're based — isn't even in their top 3. Let that sink in. Your top users were from the Global South. And when the app started struggling, you wrote a long emotional post blaming Nigerians and collected worth of impressions in 24 hours. 30,000 world wide installs last month. Not even cracking the US top charts. This app isn't being destroyed by Nigerian fraudsters. This app is failing. And Nigerians just became the scapegoat for a founder who needed a viral moment more than he needed a product. We've seen this playbook. It's tired.

We have removed Kled from the Nigerian app store and IP banned the entire region. The first thing I would like to say is I have nothing against Nigeria. I have a ton of friends from this region and these were some of our earliest app adopters. Genuinely, thank you all for the support. Kled has been up and running and out of beta for 4 months now. We have paid out hundreds of thousands of people for their data, and our users have uploaded over 1 billion assets onto our platform. After several months of uploads we found that Nigeria had a ≈95% fraud rate. Instead of real, usable data, users were uploading pictures of black screens, duplicate photos, internet generated images, AI generated images, etc. at an unimaginable scale. In comparison, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have a less than 10% fraud rate across 10x the userbase size. Our fraud system is fast to catch these issues but the level of complexity of these schemes is getting out of hand. This weekend we were flooded with thousands of fake Japanese passports and identity cards with Nigerians photoshopped onto them in our KYC system. That was the final straw. As a startup we can't afford to eat the costs of that data overhead, so we temporarily removed the app from the region while we improved our fraud detection and banning system to quickly filter out bad actors when the time is right. On top of all of this, every time we make a post there is someone asking us to bring the region back within seconds. We hear you, but it's gotten out of hand. We've made this decision with great care. We love everyone who has genuinely supported Kled from Nigeria, and we hope to return when the time is right. -Kled Team

Now she’s dead,is he not eating outside? -Got pregnant for the 4th time after being warned by doctors. -Her husband is in Nigeria but never there when she births or attends baby dedications. -She must cook, that’s why she left hospital despite Doctor’s warning to cook and packed her 3kids to her mother’s place.
