Materially the standards you claim are impossible to achieve on a single island without a socialist bloc of countries. It’s just pedantry.

@JonathanCl62034 @EricHovagim Again, I am not attacking Cuba. You could argue that Cuba is doing as well as it possibly can given the circumstances. Nevertheless, the question of whether they are socialist or not, rests on material facts. It has a a state resulting from class antagonisms, a bourgeoisie, etc.

It has a bourgeoisie and a state resulting from class antoginisms. I've never read Marx stating that international solidarity determines the mode of prod.
