🚨 Gateman Usman and Three Accomplices Arrested After Failed Kidnapping in Lagos Lagos, Nigeria Police have arrested 38-year-old gateman Usman Abdullahi and three accomplices after a botched attempt to kidnap the children of his employer, prominent businessman Mr. Adebayo Olusegun, in Ikoyi. The incident occurred Tuesday evening around 7:45 pm. Usman, employed for over two years, allegedly colluded with outsiders to abduct the 12-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl as they returned home. He provided family routine details for a planned ₦50 million ransom. As the children’s vehicle approached the gate, Usman signalled the gang. The driver reversed and honked, alerting nearby private security guards. One accomplice was overpowered at the car door; the other two were chased and arrested by Maroko Police patrol. Usman was caught after the children identified him. The suspects – Usman Abdullahi (38), Hamzat moshood (32), Suleiman Yusuf (29), and Kabiru Mohammed (35) – were found with two locally-made pistols, and incriminating phone messages. Usman acted over unpaid salaries and mistreatment, recruiting the others from Kano. The children are safe and reunited with their parents. The four men are detained at SCID Panti and will be charged with conspiracy, attempted kidnapping, and unlawful possession of firearms. May God protect us all.🙏
