@RedDuelist @charles_f4ng Well…it is for them to decide. It is not always good to presume, unless it is evidence-based. When there already two big highly visited events happening in Germany excluding Twitchcon, it means they are attracting the public and have reached their target population. Marketing

@alphachrisg @charles_f4ng Yes okay, that's not what we were talking about however. People outside of Germany that are creators are not going to 3 conventions even though they are all well visited by content creators to do the same stuff; this doesn't orbit around gaming, that's all we're saying.

@RedDuelist @charles_f4ng Yes, but the convention is primarily for Japanese Culture which includes those and I am not talking about which of the content creators go there etc. but the core of the Convention. Düsseldorf is known to have the most people with Japanese ethnicities or background in Germany.

@BekVibes I don’t know about last year because I skipped it but what I experienced this year, is that the staff lack general orientation. Those who were wearing red shirts with the „Ask Me“ don‘t even have a clue of some of the when and wheres and just direct you to the information desk.

TwitchCon staff & security was much better this year. Especially in the Minecraft area, staff were super helpful and there was a lot of professional security. Staff encouraged us to let security know of anyone trying to steal the capes, or annoying anyone about theirs etc. 💚

@charles_f4ng I am from Berlin and it‘s finally good to have the Twitchcon back here again after so many years. Berlin is more accessible internationally compared to Rotterdam with people coming from all over the world and not just the locals.

@hariitoVT @zachbussey LOL! I live in Berlin and it’s cheaper than the Netherlands and the transport is not that bad either.

@zachbussey Interesting. I hope people are ready for absurd pricing and public transport that is less reliable than the weather forecast for 8 weeks+
