Got up early and got it done! Town of Fuquay-Varina is a little cleaner this morning thanks to these volunteers! We decided we need someone to print on our fluorescent safety shirts “Not mandatory- just a volunteer” 😂

Special Fish Fry Friday is today!!(March 20th) Just drive by or come on in! Dinner plate includes: Fried Fish, green beans, cole slaw and hush puppies ! 🍽$12 per plate 💰💳Cash or credit accepted! *Open to The Public

It was great meeting several new Legionaries, Auxillary and Sons tonight at New Member Meet Up! If you missed this month’s meeting please join us in April, on the third Thursday at 6pm! (April 16th)

Tonight Commander Abshure presented Stephen Hutton with a 40 Year Continuous Member Certificate and Pin! Congrats Stephen and thank you for being an American Legion member for over 40 years! Wow!!!

Auxiliary is in need of candy donations by March 25th for their annual Easter egg hunt. Please consider dropping off candy or making a donation directly to Auxiliary to purchase some to donate on your behalf. As of this time they are still in great need of candy donations.

Join us at The Post tomorrow, Saturday, March 14th to learn all about the Auxiliary programs, events and how they help lead our Post! 9am - 12pm Snacks and coffee will be served.

Looking to take shag dancing lessons? We are now offering these at The American Legion in Fuquay varina! You do not need to be a member to attend. Lessons to be held every Wednesday!

Veteran Peer Support Group meets tonight, Wednesday, February 25! 5:30pm - 7:30pm American Legion Post 116 6400 Johnson Pond Rd. Fuquay varina *As you pull into the Post, it is the building on the right, and you will enter through the door labeled “museum.”

American Legion Post 116 Cruisers Fuquay-Varina, NC along with the Fuquay-Varina Woman's Club made deliveries to two Elementary Schools. One on Monday to Herbert Akins Elementary and one delivery today to Lincoln Heights Elementary. Thanks to everyone that donated food!
