New meta-analysis of longitudinal studies finds that social media is "consistently associated with risks to child and adolescent health and development." That's notable: Longitudinal studies on social media have often been characterized as inconclusive. This shows they're not -- instead, they are consistent with the time series, correlational, and experimental evidence, which consistently shows social media use causing depression, cognitive issues, etc.

Since when did the NBA punish players for resting on a back to backs? All teams having been doing this for a decade plus.
Maybe the league should look to shorten the season and eliminate B2B’s but that would mean $ out of their pocket

Before becoming a global icon, Shakur lived in Baltimore from 1984–88. He attended @BaltSchoolArts, studying acting and poetry — a formative chapter that helped shape the artist he’d become.

In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.
